Chapter 1: Quickstart

- vim (Windows/Mac/Linux)
- > sudo apt-get install vim-gtk (Ubuntu)
- emacs (Windows/Mac/Linux)
- > sudo apt-get install emacs (Ubuntu)
- The Native C compiler
- Make
- gnuWin32 Make (Windows)
- Already installed with Xcode (Mac)
- Your distribution's package manger (Linux)
- Already installed with gcc (Ubuntu)
- Microchip XC32 compiler
- MPLAB Harmony
- FTDI virtual COM port
- Terminal Emulator:
- PIC32quickstart.zip
- Updated NU32 Makefile! Replace the Makefile in the skeleton folder, but make sure to copy the paths from your working Makefile.
