Soldering basics
Put the component in the board
Fix the component in place
Steady your board
Clean the iron tip
Tin the iron tip
Heat the joint
Apply solder to the heated metal
Trim the wire
Intermediate soldering
Don't solder a chip into a board, use an adapter
Solder one header, then reheat to make it perpendicular
Twist wires around each other to make a longer wire
Use heat shrink to cover wire joints
Desoldering
Cut the part to desolder each wire individually
Remove the wire
Charge the solder sucker
Heat the hole
Suck out the liquid solder
Surface mount soldering
Flux the pads
Add solder to one pad
Place the chip on the pads
Heat the solder
Solder remaining pins
