The CCS C Windows IDE combines a Source Code Editor and C Compiler, and interfaces easily with the CCS ICD-U40 Programmer (this combination of tools is used in ME 333/433). The PCWH Student Materials package includes a student version of the Windows IDE C Compiler, along with an introductory manual on [[C Programming|C programming]]. Install the IDE software from the disk provided. As it is a student version, this software is limited to two devices: the PIC18F4520 and the PIC18F252. |

Install and Setup
Installing the CCS C Windows IDE is quite straightforward. Simply run the setup file from the C Compiler installation disk, and follow the on screen instructions.
