<p></p> <p><b>New page</b></p><div>Upgrading the wiki is tricky. Currently (8/4/2006), the wiki is version 1.6.5. You can check the version for yourself here: [[Special:Version]]. The newest version can be found at http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Download. In the summer of 2006, mediawiki was upgraded to version 1.7.x. One of the key differences was that the new 1.7.x wiki requires PHP 5, which at the time of writing of this article we do not have. See [[Special:Version]] to see the current version. If somebody feels adventurous, they can try and upgrade to PHP5 and try upgrading the wiki. Make sure and follow the steps in [[Help:Wiki Backup]] to backup the current wiki.
