The CCS PIC-C Compiler combines the Design Environment and C Compiler, and interfaces easily with the CCS ICD-U40 Programmer. There are many different combinations of tools that allow you to program and interact with PIC microcontrollers. For any combination, however, there are a few required components:

  1. Programmer
  2. C Compiler
  3. Design Environment
