Your assignment is to interface to the SPI MCP4921 digital to analog converter (DAC).

Overview

The goal was to communicate via SPI communications protocol with a 10bit Digital to Analog converter. We were never able to get the PIC to even send data.

Circuit

This was our circuit that we built using schematics found on online data sheet for practical applications, but they failed to communicate with the MCP4921 Digital to Analog Converter Chip. The two outputs form the PIC32 NU32 are the SPI communication Serial Data Clock (D10) and Serial Data Output (D0). SPI Schematic.jpg
